The clangy sound of the Byrds playing songs like "Mr Tambourine Man" and "Turn,Turn,Turn". I believe that they used an electric 12 string guitar which is fairly obviously true if you liten to the opening bars of Mr Tambourine Man. But using a touch of chorus (tap in a 1 sec interval) makes a 6 string sound approximately similar. I use a single middle pickup of a strat.
I would very interested in any improvements on this because I am not entirely satisfied with this setting.
